Echo Hawaii is one of ASE’s premier educational programs. Attendees receive in-depth, case-based learning on established and emerging cardiovascular ultrasound technologies in a beautiful and relaxed environment. Particular focus is placed on the application of advanced cardiovascular imaging technologies in the clinical setting. The program is structured to allow attendees to closely interact on a personal level with internationally recognized leaders in echocardiography, including special sessions on clinical dilemmas and technology-based workshops.
Program content includes state-of-the-art methods for evaluating ventricular systolic and diastolic function, valve function, pericardial disease, ischemic heart disease, critical care echo, cardiac POCUS and use of TEE. Content also includes cutting edge information on the assessment and guidance of cardiac devices, integration of echo in patients with cardiomyopathies, contrast ultrasound for cavity opacification and perfusion, strain echocardiography, and 3D imaging.

Accommodations
Due to the popularity of Echo Hawaii, the ASE room block will sell out fast! We encourage you to book your hotel accommodation as soon as you register for the course.
ASE has secured a block of rooms at a discounted rate starting at $399 per night plus tax (based on single/double occupancy) at The Fairmont Orchid. There is also a $15/night plus tax (discounted from $35) resort fee that includes amenities such as self-parking, shuttle bus service with the Mauna Lani Resort, unlimited Wi-Fi, snorkel equipment, special guest activities and more. A deposit equal to a two-night stay (room and tax) is required to hold each reservation. Deposits will be refunded for any cancellations made twenty-three (23) days prior to arrival date. For any reservations cancelled within 23 days prior to arrival, individuals will be responsible for 100% of room revenue.
Please note: The ASE room block is only for Echo Hawaii attendees. Reservations without an accompanying Echo Hawaii registration are subject to being released. Please register for the conference and then make hotel reservations to avoid complications.
CME Information
ASE is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide accredited continuing education for physicians.
ASE designates this live course for a maximum of 25.5 (pending approval) AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. You must attend two workshop sessions to claim all 16.5 CME credits.
In addition to offering CME credits, this activity has been developed and registered with ACCME to provide MOC and MOCA 2.0 credits in alignment with AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 25.5 (pending approval) MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program, the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) MOC program, and/or the American Board of Anesthesiology's (ABA) Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program® or MOCA 2.0®. It is ASE's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM and ABP MOC points and/or ABA MOCA 2.0®.
Participants should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Physicians will earn MOC and/or MOCA 2.0 points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.
ARDMS, CCI, and Sonography Canada recognize ASE's certificates and have agreed to honor the CME credit hours toward their registry requirements for sonographers.
Course Cancellation Policy
ASE hopes that everyone who registers for the Echo Hawaii will be able to attend. However, we understand that extenuating circumstances do occur. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Registrar@ASEcho.org.
Echo Hawaii Cancellation and Refund Policy
Registration fees for any ASE course are non-transferable to another participant or another course. Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days and issued back to the original payment method (if your payment is older than 120 days, a check will be issued back to you). In the unlikely event ASE cancels an in-person course, ASE is responsible only for a refund of the registration fee and not for any additional expenses incurred by the participant, including transportation, hotel accommodations, or any other miscellaneous expenses. Membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable if you cancel your registration.
