How to Thrive in a Culture of Bullying
November 14, 2023 | 7:00PM - 8:00PM EST
Career advancement brings forth a range of benefits and prospects, encompassing financial rewards, leadership positions, accolades, and flexible roles. In environments tainted by toxicity, however, attaining these advantages can prove challenging. For women progressing through mid-career stages, the potential long-term gains associated with career growth and pursuing such opportunities might be constrained. This is due to the fact that they often encounter heightened administrative responsibilities while receiving inadequate mentorship and sponsorship.
The imperative lies in implementing strategies to alleviate the burdens of administration and ensuring fair access to mentorship and sponsorship for women in similar circumstances.
This webinar aims to educate on two fundamental aspects:
Fostering a Secure Workplace Culture: Establish a policy of zero tolerance towards bullying and harassment within the workplace. Clearly communicate this policy to all team members, including those in senior leadership roles. Offer training to instill principles of respectful and professional conduct.
Understanding Reporting Mechanisms: Learn about the functioning of confidential reporting systems designed for incidents involving bullying or harassment. Promote an environment where reporting such occurrences is encouraged without fear of reprisal. Ensure swift and effective resolution of complaints.
The ultimate objective is to foster a work environment that is respectful, nurturing, and free from the damaging effects of bullying and harassment. Through informed strategies, organizations can create a culture where every individual can thrive and contribute positively to their professional pursuits.
