The webinar is the third in a series of webinars supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Pfizer. The first two webinars are accessible as on-demand activities in the Learning Hub catalogue.
April 29, 2021 | 12:00 - 1:15 PM ET

This is the third in a series of webinars, made possible through an unrestricted grant from Pfizer, Inc., involving a team of specialized physicians to provide education on the early diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiac amyloidosis. There is an increasing appreciation that this disease is more prevalent than previously thought and there are newer therapies for the treatment which are important to consider in patient care. In this learning activity, challenging cases will be shared with experts to shed light on the complex issues in this disease and the role of echocardiography.
Learning Objectives:
Understand the challenges of identifying patients with cardiac amyloidosis and have strategies for differentiating cardiac amyloidosis from other causes of increased ventricular wall thickness.
Summarize the diagnostic evaluation for cardiac amyloidosis, including the differential diagnosis using echocardiography.
Demonstrate an understanding of the role of multi-modality imaging in the evaluation of cardiac amyloidosis.
This activity is FREE for ASE Members and Nonmembers. This activity offers 1 CME credit.
Credits awarded per Session. See individual Sessions for further details.
