Learning Objectives:

  1. Review the justification for the new guidelines and appreciate the additional imaging components to a comprehensive imaging protocol prior to structural heart intervention
  2. Understand the essential imaging views and hemodynamic assessment required to perform a comprehensive evaluation of valvular morphology and function prior to structural heart interventions.
  3. Understand the essential imaging views and hemodynamic assessment required to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the interatrial septum and left atrial appendage prior to structural heart interventions.
