The Inaugural Echo in Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease is a two-day virtual course, presenting the latest information on established and emerging cardiovascular ultrasound technologies, clinical care and practical considerations in children and adults with congenital heart disease. Expert U.S. and international physician and sonographer faculty discuss current technologies with a particular focus on how they can be effectively applied in the clinical setting. Case-based approaches and state-of-the-art review are both used to discuss new and established uses of echocardiography for diagnosis and guiding management in patients with a broad array of congenital cardiovascular conditions.

Two channels of content will be simulcast, allowing participants to choose topics of greatest interest to them, however all content will be available offline at the conclusion of the course. Unique features include live, interactive small group case presentations, a virtual networking event, and a focused resiliency and well-being session. All sessions will have dedicated Question and Answer time where faculty will be joining live to answer participant questions.

CME Information
ASE is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of ACCME through the joint providership of the American Society of Echocardiography.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 16.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program and/or the American Board of Anesthesiology® (ABA) Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program® or MOCA®.
This activity contributes to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology Program™ (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®.
Participants will earn MOC and/or MOCA points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is ASE’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABA MOCA and/or ABIM MOC points.
ARDMS, CCI, and Sonography Canada recognize ASE’s certificates and have agreed to honor the CME credit hours toward their registry requirements for sonographers.
Registration includes a maximum of 16.5 CME/MOC credits for attending the live virtual course, and completing the OnDemand content. Attendees will have access to OnDemand content for 90 days from Monday, October 3, 2022 to Sunday, January 1, 2022.
